Can't. Do. It.

After I saw the movie "Twilight" and surprisingly liked it, I opted to tackle reading the rest of the series. I had read "Twilight" about a year and a half ago and liked it alright. But, after seeing the movie adaptation, I was curious to see what would happen to the characters.

But... I'm stuck. I can't move past the final book in the series. The writing and story-line is torturous for me to read.

Did you finish it? Is it worth it? A couple of people suggested to not waste my time, so I've begun reading a classic. One that I haven't read in years but knew I would enjoy. I meant to read it over the Christmas break, but wasn't able to get to it. Finally I can and am thoroughly enjoying it- all the illustrations included.

Thank you Louisa May Alcott; I love "Little Women."

So, if any of you die-hard fans are reading this, should I finish "Breaking Dawn?"

Pssst.... As if you didn't know, "Twilight" is out on DVD this Friday.

I can't start a book and not finish it, but "Breaking Dawn" was pretty bad. For the sake of closure, maybe download it and listen to it on your iPod. That's what I do with book group books I'm not excited about. That way you can clean your toilets while you read it. :)

I think you should finish it. You have already invested all this time in the other 3. I think you need closure.

Lacey, I like your style. Don't finish it.

Can't say much about the last book, but I can say that I LOVE Little Women. My mom used to read it to me and my sister when we were little. I think I am going to read it again!

It was a little tedious(and weird?), but I am glad that I finished it. Maybe you'll feel the same? I wouldn't read it again, but I like knowing how things end.

Just read it. The good news is it will take you like five nights and you're done. Then you'll never wonder.

But, no, don't expect too much.

Don't bother! I'm not someone who generally doesn't finish a book but I too felt like it was a torturous read...still I waded through and was no more enlightened or fulfilled by the end. I then proceeded to recommend to my girlfriend not to finish it and she was all too happy to put it down and listen to my recap! I can summarize the narrative for you too if you like. :)

Thanks for all your suggestions! I may take Colleen's tip- I'm great at multi-tasking!
