I Like Joel

If you like Joel McHale, chances are you'll like a new show on NBC he's in. I laughed out loud watching this:

I have no idea when it starts, but let's hope... soon!

(Thanks Matt!)

Whatever...

Go on- you can throw a dart at this dude's face... I don't mind.

I'm sure I am not the only viewer of this show who thinks this guy is a c-r-e-e-p!

(But... it was still fun watching with you sister and company!)

Conan

Jeff and I have been up late the last few nights watching the last of Conan O'Brien's Late Night show. We've become huge fans of his and especially this show. I love tuning into the beginning of each episode, as the opening dialogue and opening skit usually have me rolling.

He only has two episodes to go, so watch while you can...! We have a feeling he will be a bit more restrained when he starts his new gig later this year.

(The above clip was shown last night- some random bloopers from over the years.)

"Tess of the D'Urbervilles"

I finally had some time last night to begin watching one of my favorite book adaptations. It aired here last week on PBS and is a two-part series. I watched the first part last night and absolutely love it. I've been thinking of Tess and Angel all day. (Seriously.)

Can't wait to finish the rest of the series this weekend... Check your PBS listings to see if you can DVR it. I highly recommend it. (Obviously.)

(Oh, I think the actress who played Tess was spot-on.)

Hilarious...

We thought this was oh-so-funny:

Gotta love Doogie!

A boo-and-a-hoo about:

This.

However! Hopefully the movie he alludes to really will happen... pretty, please.

Is it weird...

That I'm totally obsessed with this show?

I think it's utterly adorable and fascinating all at the same time.

(Yes, I did DVR the last episode when the family goes to Hawaii. I can't wait to see next week's episode when they renew their vows... I'm sure they got the entire trip AND dress AND flights AND hotel all free. Guess it would pay to have that many kids...)

"Pushing Daisies"

I've finally begun to catch up on my recorded "Pushing Daisies" episodes (I'm three weeks behind!), and I'm totally in love with this show again.

My friend and I were talking about this clip from last year. It's so quirky and silly, and yet, it's still SO sweet:

(It does help that I'm utterly in love with this song.)

We've read articles that they're considering canceling this show, so if you haven't watched, give the show a try! It's on Wednesday nights.

90210 Part II

I'm currently half-way through the premiere of "90210," and it is horrible. Seriously. The opening scene while they're walking into school... what in the world?

And, I agree with Ali's comment- aren't the girls much too thin? I agree. I definitely noticed.

Reanna's story-line is the most entertaining. We also enjoyed that a "skater" boy gave her the drugs. Dang those skaters!

Anyone else watch? Am I so sheltered that I don't realize what's going on with other teen shows? Are they this bad?

Just one question...

Where is SABRA???

(Congratulations Joshua. Wasn't it great that Katee also ended up taking some dough?)

Big Night!

Tonight, the fourth season of "So You Think You Can Dance" comes to a close. After watching the show last night, I think the boys (Twitch/Joshua) are favored to win. But, that didn't sway me from voting for my favorite- Katee- last night.

Speaking of last night, didn't you just love Wade Robson's dance for Katee and Joshua? I thought it was beautiful. And, I loved that Mandy Moore was a guest judge; I really liked her critiques.

Who do you think will win? Take my poll to the right.

(Warning: SYTYCD Spoiler!) Bummer

I was so sad to see Chelsea leave "So You Think You Can Dance" last night. (I was actually surprised at my reaction- I was sooo bummed.)

I really, really thought Courtney would've been sent home. (And, I actually really wanted her to leave.)

And, don't even get me started on Twitch. (Sorry y'all, but I am not a fan.)

I'll definitely be watching the finale and I'll be voting for Katie!

What about you? Will you be watching the finale next week? Who are you voting for?

(In memory of Chelsea, here's one of my favorite dances she did:)

"The Office" Finale

Jeff and I laughed pretty hard at last night's season finale of "The Office." One of my favorite scenes:

I especially love that "Crash" is playing-- and the line of the song that's being played? Killed. Me. Oh, and Jim's subtle comments. Hilarious.

Get 'Lost'

So... 'Lost' is coming back. In 1 week. Finally!

Jeff and I watched an 8 minute and 17 second re-cap of 'Lost' as it reviews all seasons to date. It was very entertaining and very enlightening. (The Narrator is very astute.)

Watch the recap via iTunes here. It's a great refresher... just in time for next week's debut.

Put it on your calendars...

'Project Runway 4' starts Wednesday, November 14th.

It's about time!

8.19.2007

This is it, I swear...

But, I had to post one last time about Sabra! For winning! I loved it.

Amongst a busy end of my week (including a company Lagoon Day), and catching some sort of bug this weekend, I haven't had anytime to blog about the SYTYCD Finale. Wasn't it fun to watch?

My only big problem was the ending... I hated that Cat didn't ask Sabra any of the gazillion questions she had previously asked all of the other contestants. But, it did seem like she was a gracious winner.

Here’s an interview by Entertainment Weekly talking to the big winner...

I'm gonna miss this show- that's for sure.

Save Sabra

This is for So You Think You Can Dance Fans (You know who you are.):

Did you know tonight will be the last night that YOU can vote? So! Do take note of Sabra’s number, and if you are a Sabra-Fan, and have yet to vote… tonight’s your chance.

I truly believe it’s a ladies race to victory. And, I’ve gotta stress again: I do not want Lacey to win. (She throws her bootay in the camera, and then tries to joke about it later, but I firmly believe she knew exactly what she was doing. Exactly.)

So… Do whatever you can to vote for Sabra! In fact, I’m having my little sister text me her number, as I won’t be home from a Young Women’s activity until after 11:00 (that’s an entirely different story), but I’m gonna keep votin’ until either my phone dies or my fingers do.

Good luck Sabra-Fans, and, of course, good luck, Sabra…!

Sabra+Neil

Did anyone love this dance as much as me?

I thought there were so many great dances tonight- especially this one. Loved. It.

8.01.2007

Save Sabra!

You know? I can happily admit that I'm so addicted to the show 'So You Think You Can Dance.' I have no qualms sharing this fact; I love this show.

In fact, I've been voting the past 2 weeks for my favorite: Sabra (a sort-of native from Utah). As my sisters and I were watching last week, we've firmly decided that Sabra has to win this season. But, we're afraid she won't because of...

Lacey!

Although I adore her name, I don't want her to win this season. She came in with a huge advantage being Benji's little sister, so I believe she's already got a large fan base.

All votes help Sabra. I'm sorry if there's a desperation in this plea- but, I really want her to win...

So, don't forget to vote tonight, and preferably for Sabra.

So Glad, She's Gone

I happily bid Jesse farewell... Her solos were awful... right?
