I wanna see this... really... Arcade Fire is featured in the trailer, but Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is doing the soundtrack! So, there's also that to look forward to. Screenplay by Spike Jonze AND Dave Eggers.

We've watch the trailer a few times now in this house over the last 2 days. Scott is a HUGE fan of the book. We were so pleased to hear this song on the trailer. So appropriate. The monsters look rad and I am glad it is not CGI.
October 16th seems waaaaaay to far away.

When I heard they were doing this movie, I was worried it would be AWFUL - like the Narnia movies (I almost cried at the end of that first movie because they ruined such an amazing book) but now that I know Spike Jonze is directing, I am so excited! It will be great!
When this trailer came out a few days ago I was like, YES! Spike Jonze, are you kidding me? And...Dave Eggers too? The cast looks great and it should be a very nice film.
